San Diego 6 News is reporting that Michael Hastings' car was traveling at roughly 35 miles per hour when it hit the tree, much slower than was previously believed. At such a speed, it only stands to reason that either Mercedes needs order a massive recall, or that there was some type of malfeasance in the Hastings incident. Furthermore, San Diego 6 News is also reporting on hacked emails between Fred Burton, the vice-President of intelligence for Stratfor -- a global intelligence company -- and a colleague of Hastings, in which Burton said: "Brennan is behind the witch hunts of investigative journalists, learning from sources inside the Beltway."
Brennan -- the architect of the drone war and Terror Tuesday -- will also be the subject of a posthumous article by Hastings, to be published by Rolling Stone. The article will be released in a few weeks, and promises to be groundbreaking. Already there is speculation that another massive terrorist threat will manifest itself, and that it will distract from the revelations of that coming article. The CIA is already in crisis control mode, and an email sent by the CIA's media spokesperson Todd Ebitz said: "Without commenting on information disseminated by Wikileaks, any suggestion that Director Brennan has ever attempted to infringe on constitutionally-protected press freedoms is offensive and baseless."
However, we should remember that Director Brennan was sworn in as Director using an original draft of the Constitution that had George Washington's personal annotations, dating from 1787. Little known to most Americans is that the Bill of Rights was not around in 1787. It only stands to reason that CIA spokesperson Ebitz did not lie, for there was no 1st amendment in 1787, and perhaps Brennan hasn't yet gotten to the 1790s; after all, it's a lot of documents to read through, especially for such a busy guy. We should just be sympathetic and understanding of the sacrifices that he has had to make for this nation.
